BACG Awards

The British Association for Crystal Growth (BACG) recognises excellence and impact across all career stages through its awards programme. The Young Scientist Award celebrates outstanding early-career researchers whose published work represents a significant advance in the understanding, theory, practice, or characterisation of crystal growth, while the Lifetime Achievement Award (Lifetime Membership) honours respected researchers whose sustained contributions have advanced knowledge in crystal growth and who hold significant standing within the UK crystal growth community. Together, these awards reflect BACG’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and recognising long-term leadership and influence within the field.
