BACG Young Scientist Award
The BACG has established this prestigious annual award to celebrate and encourage outstanding achievement by early-career scientists whose published research advances the field of crystal growth. The recipient will receive a monetary award, together with an engraved medal, in recognition of their contribution.
The award holder will be invited to present their work as a featured talk at the BACG Annual Conference, following which the formal presentation of the award will be made by the President of the BACG during the conference proceedings.
The award is conferred annually on the candidate whose work represents the most significant advance in the understanding, theory, practice, or characterisation of crystal growth processes, as published in the scientific literature within the preceding three calendar years.
