Ryan Leeming

Senior Particle Scientist, Syngenta

Ryan is a Senior Particle Scientist at Syngenta’s Jealott’s Hill research centre, with expertise in crystallisation, particle size analysis and lab automation. His role is specialised in the use of automation and digital tools, alongside robust knowledge of process analytical technology (PAT) and off-line particle analysis techniques, to optimise crystallisation processes through better understanding of their fundamental kinetics.

Ryan has 7 years of experience in the field of crystallisation, beginning with his PhD at the University of Leeds that was focused on population balance modelling (PBM) and model predictive control (MPC) of industrial crystallisation processes.
